Quirky Antiques, owned by Pamela Carvell, will be exhibiting at the Living North Live exhibition, at Newcastle Racecourse from 11th to 13th May 2018. The show is open each day from 10am til 4pm. Quirky Antiques will be on Stand A53 in the Shopping Area.
Items on dispaly and for sale will include upcycled vintage furniture, Art Deco items, vintage china and glassware, collectables and of course Quirky Antiques.
Quirky Antiques has operated from a pop-up shop on the Isle of Ske since 2013, and since closing this in autumn 2017, Pamela has been exploring new ways of retailing her antiques. She has an Etsy shop, which sells a variety of glassware, china and collectables that can be shipped anywhere in the UK. There is also a shop on the Quirky Antiques Facebook page, for items to be collected from NE26.
Speaking from her base in Whitley Bay, she said “I am excited to be attending Living North Live for 3 days, and having a chance to showcase the variety of vintage items that I sell, expecially the vintage furniture which I upcycle in a modern style.”
Items on the stand will be available for purchase.
